Welcome to the Terms & Conditions of Oakwood Holiday Travel India Private Limited ("Oakwood Holiday", "we", "us", or "our"). These terms govern your use of our website, travel portal, and the purchase of our holiday membership plans, tour packages, partner hotel bookings, and vouchers. By accessing our website or purchasing any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By visiting oakwoodholiday.com, creating an account, making a payment, or redeeming any voucher issued by us, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the laws of India, and accept these Terms & Conditions along with our Privacy Policy. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Oakwood Holiday Travel India Private Limited.
2. Services Overview
Oakwood Holiday Travel India Private Limited provides the following travel services:
- Holiday Membership Bundles: Prepaid vacation packages offering allocations of 35, 70, 105, or 175 vacation days usable across our partner hotel network during the membership validity period.
- One-off Tour Packages: Curated domestic and international itineraries bookable without a membership.
- Partner Hotel Bookings: Reservations at hotels and resorts within our contracted partner network, subject to availability.
- Vouchers: Holiday, hotel, and movie vouchers issued with memberships or promotional offers, redeemable as per the voucher terms.
3. Membership Terms
- Each membership bundle carries a defined validity period, which is communicated at the time of purchase and in your membership agreement.
- Vacation days are allocated to your member account upon activation and must be utilized within the membership validity period; unused days lapse upon expiry.
- Memberships are non-transferable and may be used only by the registered member(s) and accompanied guests as per the plan rules.
- Membership is activated only after payment confirmation. Activation typically follows successful verification of your payment through our payment gateway.
- Bookings under a membership remain subject to hotel availability, seasonal blackout dates, and advance-reservation requirements communicated at the time of booking.
4. Booking & Payments
- All online payments are processed securely through Cashfree Payments. We do not store your raw card numbers or banking passwords on our servers.
- Depending on the plan or package, payment may be required in full or in part (installments/EMI-style partial payments) as specified at checkout or in your membership agreement.
- A booking is considered confirmed only after the applicable payment is successfully received and a confirmation has been issued to you by email or through your member account.
- Prices displayed on the website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change until a booking is confirmed.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made 30 or more days before travel are eligible for a full refund, cancellations 15–29 days prior attract a 50% refund, and cancellations within 14 days of travel are non-refundable but may be rescheduled once at no charge. 6. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal, contact, and traveller information at the time of booking.
- All travellers must carry valid government-issued photo identification (such as Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or Driving Licence) while travelling, and any visas or permits required for the destination.
- You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access to member accounts, or use our services for any unlawful purpose.
- Any special requests (dietary, accessibility, room preferences) must be communicated in advance; fulfilment is subject to the partner property's discretion.
7. Voucher & Redemption Terms
- Vouchers are issued with a defined validity period and must be redeemed before expiry; expired vouchers hold no value and cannot be revalidated unless expressly stated.
- Vouchers are non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash, and cannot be combined with other offers unless specified.
- Redemption is subject to availability and the specific terms printed on or communicated with each voucher.
- Oakwood Holiday reserves the right to decline vouchers that are tampered with, duplicated, or obtained fraudulently.
8. Limitation of Liability
Oakwood Holiday Travel India Private Limited acts as a travel facilitator and partners with independent hotels, resorts, airlines, and activity providers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, nor for delays, cancellations, accidents, or service deficiencies attributable to third-party providers, weather conditions, government restrictions, or events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure). Our aggregate liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Thane, Maharashtra.
